Andrea

Administrative Lead

I joined the Welmerink Orthodontics team in December 2011. I also worked in the orthodontic field from 2000-2006, before I became a stay-at-home mom. During my orthodontic career, I have worked in the lab and assisted the doctors. You have probably seen me as the Treatment Coordinator or Financial Coordinator over my time here with Welmerink Orthodontics. I truly enjoy meeting all of our patients. Now, as the Administrative Lead I am more behind the scenes of the office making sure everything runs smoothly not only for all of our wonderful patients but for our amazing doctors and team as well.

Camping, skiing, traveling and spending time at the beach are some of my favorite hobbies. My husband, Ryan and I have three boys, Blaine, Logan and Mitchell. They keep us very busy watching them play sports. You can always find us at some sporting event around town. We love watching them discover and pursue their passions. 

Nicole

Treatment Coordinator

I have worked in the orthodontic field since 2006, after graduating from the TMCC Dental Assisting Program. My favorite things about my job are getting to know our patients and bringing them happiness by transforming their smile. I am a previous patient of Dr. Welmerink’s: I had braces completed when I was in the fifth grade. I am so happy to work for such amazing doctors and give our patients the same great experience here that I had!

Some of my favorite things to do are ski, spend time at Lake Tahoe, walk my Goldendoodle Rosie, and spend time with my family and friends. I have two children: a daughter Adalyn and a son Cooper. My husband Matt and I were born and raised in Sparks.

Scheduling Coordinator

I have been with the Welmerink Orthodontics team since 2012 and am very excited to be here! I truly enjoy working in the dental field, and especially love working with orthodontic patients. It is such a fulfilling job when you see the happiness a great smile brings our patients.

I moved here in 2003 from Northern California and I love all that Northern Nevada has to offer! My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and spend as much time as possible hiking, hunting, and exploring. I also enjoy spending time with my four sons, daughter-in-law, and beautiful grandchildren, Hayden and Miles.

I hope to make your experience here a positive one from the minute you walk in the door!

Scheduling Coordinator

I started working at Welmerink Orthodontics during the summer of 2018. I have truly enjoyed working with such an amazing team. Prior to working at Welmerink Orthodontics, I was at a pediatric dental office for seven years. It brings me great joy seeing each of our patients’ smiles grow throughout treatment.

I am the proud mother of three beautiful ladies. I truly enjoy being a mom and wouldn’t change that for anything. I am a native Nevadan and most likely you will find me in the Nevada backroads having a great time hunting, fishing, and camping, all while working with my dogs. I live a very active life and enjoy each and every adventure.

Financial Coordinator

I have been working at Welmerink Orthodontics since 2017, first as a Scheduling Coordinator and now as the Financial Coordinator. It is so rewarding getting to know our patients and watching them transform throughout treatment.

I grew up in the Bay Area in California and moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada in 2011. I love this area and am always looking for opportunities to spend more time outdoors, especially backpacking and kayaking.

Hello I'm Jessica and I recently joined the Welmerink Orthodontics team! I have been in the Dental field for almost 10 years. It is a very rewarding job to be a part of our patients smile journey.

Outside of the office I love spending time with my husband and our daughter Audrey. We love kayaking at Lake Tahoe and taking spontaneous trips. Our goal is to make as many core memories as possible.

Clinical Lead/Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

Hello, I’m Jessica! I joined the Welmerink Orthodontic team in the Fall of 2016. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Milan and did my externship at Welmerink Orthodontics before being hired to join the team. It has been a great experience working with a fun, friendly and caring team. Thank you Dr. Welmerink for believing in me and my capabilities from the beginning. I loved how braces changed my smile, and it is an honor being able to help transform beautiful smiles and help make patients comfortable and confident about their smiles.

I was born and raised in Reno. I have two wonderful children. A son Giovanni and a daughter Amelia. In our spare time we enjoy going to the park, the lake and camping. I also love kickboxing and watching Netflix. I am very family oriented, having come from a family of six children.

I cannot wait to meet each of you, if I have not already!

Linda Jo

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

Hi my name is Linda Jo. Everyone calls me Jo.

I have enjoyed working at Welmerink Orthodontics for over 27 years. Truly my best job ever!

I am a Native Nevadan. Born and raised in Reno. My family all lives here. I have a daughter, son-in-law and my 1st granddaughter also my son and his fiancé!

I have many hobbies. They include paddle boarding on beautiful Lake Tahoe, skiing, hiking and running. One of my biggest accomplishments was running the 1999 and 2000 Boston Marathon! I am a huge Disney fan and I love to travel.

I enjoy getting to know my patients and the end result of a beautiful smile brings joy to my heart! I love hearing about patients travels, sports and Disney tips and trips!

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

I joined the Welmerink team in the fall of 2020 and have been in the orthodontic field going on 10 years now. Prior to that, I also worked in general dentistry for 8 years.

The best part about working at Welmerink Orthodontics is the amazing teamwork. I get to work with such awesome, fun, and caring staff. It definitely makes it worth coming into work knowing that I am in good hands, and even better, knowing that our patients are in good hands too. With the quality care and experience we give to our patients; I am so glad I get to take part in helping our patients achieve that perfect smile.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, watching my kids play sports, and most of all spending time with my family, whether that be taking trips, playing games, watching movies, relaxing, listening to music, or having a good old family BBQ.

Hello! My name is Esme and I joined the awesome Welmerink team in 2021.

I am originally from New Mexico but moved to Reno in 2012. I attended TMCC and received my Associate of Science & Dental Assisting. Since then, I have worked in orthodontics and absolutely love it. The best part of my job is watching our patient’s confidence grow through the years. Each visit brings something new, not only with their smile but with their life as well.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my son Leo and exploring the ever-changing food scene in town.

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

Hello! I’m Alicia. I joined the Welmerink Orthodontic Team in the summer of 2021 and I am loving it. I have been in the dental field since graduating the Dental Assisting Program at TMCC in 2014. I found my passion for dental and especially in orthodontics while being a patient of Dr. Welmerink’s when I was a kid. It is such a great feeling seeing our patients excited for treatment and so happy with their beautiful smile. I look forward to getting to know all of our amazing patients.

I was born in Tallahassee, Florida and moved to Sparks when I was 4 years old. Outside of the office I love being with my family. My husband and I have been married since 2019 and have two sweet boys that we spend most of our time chasing after. During the summer you can find us camping and hanging around a fire pit cooking something good!

Hello, I’m Angie! I graduated from the dental assisting program at TMCC in the summer of 2022 and shortly after I started working at Welmerink Orthodontics. I feel so lucky and grateful being able to work for Dr. Adam and Dr. Megan, as they are so caring and supportive. I had braces a few years ago and seeing my teeth after treatment boosted my confidence. Now it is so rewarding knowing that I get to be a part of our patients’ journeys to loving their smiles.

I was born in Southern California but moved to Nevada when I was 10 years old. I have 2 siblings and I am the oldest. When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the movies, listening to true crime podcasts, going to concerts and traveling.

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

I am born and raised in Reno, Nevada. I graduated from Reed High school and after that I went to TMCC and received my associates degree.

I have a daughter named Catalina Rose and she is the most beautiful blessing that has ever happened to me. I love spending time with my family and friends and traveling to new places!

I worked at a bank for almost five years. I loved and appreciated the experience but changing career paths was the best decision I have ever made. I love orthodontics! I enjoyed what I did as a financial assistant but I really enjoy being trained as an ortho assistant as well. Cross training has made me realize that I’m capable of doing whatever I set my mind to.

I’m really happy where I’m at and thankful for the second family that I have gained at Welmerink Orthodontics. I love my job and everyone I work with and being a part of such a wonderful team. My home away from home.
